Founded in 1997, Capital City Events has quickly grown to be the premier destination management company in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area.

Site Selection, Negotiation & Management

Capital City Events understands the importance of securing the right event venue for your meeting. From the beginning, we will be by your side to provide the best options for your organization and guests. Drawing from our local knowledge, experience and industry relationships, we will strive to secure the best contract while keeping the importance of a budget and cost savings top of mind.  From there you can count on our team to ensure that every detail is taken care of and your guests are provided a memorable experience.

Content Consultation & Virtual Meetings

With an in-depth understanding of your organization, research and creativity, we will help develop content that connects you and your guests before, during and after your meeting.  Whether you are planning a traditional in-person meeting or going virtual, Capital City Events has the experience, creativity and tools to produce events of all scopes and sizes. Through effective and innovative communication tactics your audience will leave feeling inspired, engaged, and motivated.

Speaker Coordination

Capital City Events will utilize our extensive network and relationships with speaker bureaus across the country to help find the right speaker for your meeting.  Once we understand your goals and objectives for your meeting, we will offer a diverse range of speakers who will stimulate and motivate your guests, leaving them feeling encouraged and inspired!

Virtual and Hybrid Events

As social distancing has quickly become the new norm, the team at Capital City Events is pleased to collaborate and provide your guests a truly unique, memorable and meaningful experience from the comfort and safety of their homes.  We are proud to offer numerous virtual, hybrid and in-person experiences to help you and your key stakeholders stay connected.

From a healthy cooking class taught by a Michelin starred chef, to a painting class led by a famed DC muralist, to a morning of yoga or meditation, or happy hour enhanced with a wine tasting... the possibilities are endless.  Enhance these activities with lunch or dinner delivered to your attendees to make your event extra special.
