Jolene Martin is a television personality, anchor, MC and businesswoman. She has graced our screens for over 17 years, since the birth of her career as a ‘child presenter’ in Cape Town.

She honed her skills as a sitcom actress, working with some of the countries finest producers and directors.

Currently the star of Kyknet’s first Telenovela “Arendsvlei” which she headlines after a lead role in “Getroud Met Rugby” and launching the international “Powerball” brand on African soil.

Hosting the national lottery for 6 years showcased her exceptional live event skills brilliantly but also made this Cape Town born triple-threat a household name.

This year she celebrates 26 years of being on screen, which is rare for a 39 year old, entertainer.

Her career as MC benefits greatly from her extensive experience as broadcast anchor for a wide range of topics from Banking, Arts and Culture to information technology.

Clients enjoy her effervescent, witty and well-informed hosting skills not just locally but also abroad.

She was invited to Denver, Colorado to host The Shaka Franklin Foundation Annual Luncheon prior to which she hosted the live television broadcast of "Lion King South Africa- Opening Night" which afforded her the opportunity to interview the legendary Oprah Winfrey.

Before that she was invited to Singapore to host and entertain a South African High Commission Celebratory dinner at which she flaunted her vocal ability as a trained singer. She was called upon to do the same in Ethiopia at the United Nations New Year's Celebration for UN volunteers and officials away from home.

The German embassy also took advantage of her singing ability and she learnt the German national anthem in order to open the event she then emceed.

Her sincerity, warmth and professionalism are results of humble beginnings. Before turning twenty she was invited to address a United Nations Congress in Paris at the invitation of the J Paul Getty Foundation and this experience sparked something within her.

She has committed herself to raising awareness to social issues by offering her services and skills when necessary.

She's hosted innumerable NGO fundraisers and she now educates through her own foundation whilst in pre-production for her production company’s first feature documentary, which brings awareness to the plight of indigenous peoples
