NICO PANAGIO is a South African actor, presenter and producer of Greek descent.

He has been in the entertainment industry for a decade and a half and starred in various theatre productions, television dramas and big-screen feature films. He is also the host of the popular reality show Survivor SA.

Apart from his artistic pursuits, Nico has a passion for the safety of children and has been the voluntary Chairman of the child recovery organisation Missing Children SA, for over a decade. He is also an outdoor enthusiast and is most at home in the mountains and ocean around Cape Town.

Apart from his passions for trail running, surfing, supping and kayaking he is also a Cape Epic finisher, a coffee aficionado, lover of chocolate and drinker of fine red wine & Scotch. He is married to his best friend Christi, has 2 adopted daughters and is a passionate follower of Jesus Christ.
