Noni Gasa

Noni Gasa has more than 14 years of editorial and marketing experience, bringing her vast knowledge of fashion media to her role as resident judge on the hit reality TV series, Project Runaway: South Africa.

She ranks among South Africa’s most prominent media personalities and PR specialists, having begun her career as a features editor at Naspers in 2004 before joining GLAMOUR as Associate Editor in 2007.

Following her tenure in women’s magazines, she went on to lecture Fashion Media at LISOF’s Joburg and Pretoria campuses for two years.

Gasa is the former Public Relations Manager for Woolworths and has since worked on a myriad of award-winning projects for other large corporations.

Obsessed with innovating new ways of creating absurdly cool brand campaigns, she most recently worked with the likes of H&M, Brand South Africa, Coronation and Lindt, to mention a few.

Proudly hailing from Durban, Noni Gasa is no stranger to broadcast and has co-hosted a string of TV productions during her iconic career, scooping three SA Style Awards along the way!

She holds a BA Journalism degree, an MBA in Luxury Brand Management from IFA, Shanghai, and a Masters in Luxury Business from Polimoda Istituto, Italy.
